Hugh and I have been sorting family memorabilia and came across this very old Christmas postcard…it is the message (or should I say warning) that is the story.
In case you find it hard to read. the card was sent from Santa Claus to Helen older sister, Ruth… it says
Dear Ruth,
You must not cry so much, must be good to Helen (Hugh’s mom) and must pick up your play things if you want me to come. Santa Claus
Also note the postage… domestic, 1 cent, foreign, 2 cents.

What a great family story!
