Landing in Jeddah…I had two security checks before entering the terminal. The first agent asked me if I was a photographer because if all the equipment I was carrying. The second line was divided between men and woman. There were three lines for men and one for women. My line didnt feel like it moved but as I had a four hour layover, I wasnt worried about my connecting flight. I could see the women in their hijabs being scanned from head to toe….my turn came and I took was scanned head to toe after walking through the scanner. This time my bag with the camera and lens were pulled for closer inspection. My boarding pass and passport were requested and something was written up. The woman said “finished” so I started repacking my bag. She waived me off and said “no”, so clearly “finished” didn’t mean “finished”. A male agent came over, looked at my bag and said “finished”….I slowly started putting things back in my bag and this time no one stopped me.
