Taking Time

Maybe I should have labeled this category of posts, Pandemic.  But the song that keeps playing in my mind is the Fort the Longest Time, sung by the Phoenix Chamber Choir of Vancouver.  The quarantined singers performed this. So the name… (if you haven’t heard this – Google and enjoy)

Clearly traveling internationally is out for some time.  Hugh and I yearn for new visas.  But for now it is 2430 Coyote Creek Drive.  We had limited travel planned this year, but in this moment we should be in Portugal celebrating Julianna’s 40th birthday.  Postponed until next year… do we then celebrate the 40th or 41st???

So being forced to entertain myself at home I have spent some much needed time on my photography.  I have been doing some remote coaching with Barb Eddy (www.barbaraeddyphotography.com) learning  image processing using Lightroom and Photoshop.  She is a great educator and I can tell from our work, I am looking at my photos more completely.

With Tim encouraging me to do an at home safari,  I have picked up my camera again.  Following Tim’s cat, Kiwi ,around the house.  Well mostly Kiwi follows me in the mornings, so I just need to carry my camera.  I’m not much of an animal photographer, but it might develop if this virus continues for long.
