I’ve also been rereading Andre Gallant’s books (andregallant.com). HIs creativity is infectious. In this books, he shares his journey as a travel photographer and, also, his ideas on how to process images. The processing is not improving the images simply to be a better rendition of what they are but what they could be. I have just started playing around with some of his suggestions. This is my first attempt. The first image is as shot, the second with one of Andre’s techniques. Clearly I have a ways to go…

He recently posted about 7 of a former trip to Italy and in the last week a couple of early morning shots. Said he got up at 4:30 today to get the shot.. still frost on the ground!
I like your post processing. It’s amazing to realize that we can change the mood of the images when we post process. Nice job!
