Ten days came and went and then one, two, three, four days rolled into one week and then.. urgent ringing of phones in Dubai, text, after text after text sent. "The babies are coming!" No response, the kindhearted lady slept through the birth of her wonderful grand-kittens.
All the calls and texts were from the Great Grandparents many timezones away as they watched (and thankfully recorded) the birth of the kittens inside the new blue house,
Morning came to Dubai and so did kind hearted lady visited to pet and feed her. She checked before breakfast but missed the new arrives as they cuddled in the back of the blue bed. But the proud mother was ready and willing to show the kind hearted lady of her night's labor, leaving the babies for breakfast after her busy night. The kindhearted Grandma breathed a sigh of relief, "Three, phew and they are bigger than I thought they would be".
The birth coincided with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. And as one kitten firmly attached itself to the kind-hearted lady, she was quickly named Lizzie. This kitten might have in womb heard Cooper's early whispers.
After a vet visit several days after birth all were pronounced healthy and the sex of each kitten was determine...more names followed. Thankfully Lizzie could stay Lizzie. Keeping with a royal theme Charlotte aka Lottie and Louis were names. Collectively called "The Royals” or “the Royal Family”.
Proper photos of the babies proved difficult in the early days but finally ... clear photos.
