Planing on photographing the auroras again tonight, with hopes on not traveling as far!/. We traveled to Chatanika to shoot.  It was slightly over a hour from Fairbanks. We waited in the van for about an hour an a half, nothing was happening, and then Barb went out with her camera to check and the camera was picking up the lights that our eyes couldn't see.  Then we were on for hours of dancing lights.  We started shooting about 1 AM and about 4AM.  I was cold and tired but thrilled to see the Aurors!
