• Dotomburi area

This area's photography is best at night with a tripod...after our trip to the waterfalls that wasn't happening.  We clocked 7.5 miles that day..

After arriving Tim found a Mameshiba cafe... he is angling for me to get a Shiba Inu dog as I fell in love with one in Kyoto in 2016.  These dogs are a miniature of the ones I like.  The dogs felt overstimulated so they were not anxious to be petted and played with.

  • Photos of the canal...etc.  Our guide said that Osaka used to have many canals, like Venice but most have been covered over.

This is one remaining in the Dotomburi area.

  •

Roasted chestnuts (left) ...seem to be on sale in many places.  Osaka is known as the kitchen of Japan, so there are many wonderful eats.
