So I still needed some supplies, we had been unable to find a button store a member of fabric store staff had recommended. The directions has been “its across from the KFC” which we found but no button store was in sight. The missing bit was “down an alleyway” across from the KFC”
So found it….found some very general buttons for a dress for Julianna. They were is a plastic package of about 30 buttons. After finding them…need to find out the cost. Now I buy buttons almost everyplace I travel as buttons are not easy to come by in US. And everywhere we travel…buttons are sold individually. So the challenge, with the language barrier, was to figure out how much each button cost and to communicate I needed 14 buttons…no worries, they understood. The cost was 2 dirhams and I had to buy the entire package. My mind was trying to do the conversion. My silent, mental response, “divide by 3, no closer to 4… I think I can afford it. But is that per button????” No entire package. Done… made it through that adventure.
Is that your personal package carrier in the photo? So how much did the buttons end up costing you?
As close as I could come..about 2 cents US per button…
