Watching the world wake up in new places is a favorite of mine…getting out before sunrise offers me unique views of how people start their day in whatever place I am visiting. My friend Scott is always game to join me when we travel together. It has been a harder sell for my night owl husband, but this trip he is joining me. I think he worries about me being safe, as I will go out alone, after checking with our local guide that it is safe.
What are early morning temps like?
Warm.. maybe 60s. I gauge the temp on whether I need gloves to photograph…and I don’t. I usually photograph about 1.5 to 2 hours and I’m not cold when I come in.
