Tsutenkaku Tower in Shinsekai area of Osaka

This tower dates back to the early twentieth century, but the original was destroyed by fire in 1943.  Japan used the steel from disassembling ruins for the war effort.  This tower was rebuilt in the 1950 and opened to the public in 1956.
