Yongdusan Park Busan

Yongdu means “dragon’s head” and “sans” means mountain and is so called as the park set on a mountain  is said to resemble a dragon’s head.

The bell was the most interesting to me.

Bell of the Citizens was financed by contributions from Koreans.
Bell of the Citizens in Yongdusan Park is rung just three times a year. March 1 (Indepence Movement from Japanese occupation) , June 25,(Independence Day), and December 31st, to ring in the New Year.

Also at Yongdusan Park includes Busan Tower with great views of the city from the top of the tower.

This bridge was another meeting point for refugees during and after the Korean War. I believe this bridge is not the original but was rebuilt.
The long silver building is the International Market, so named as it provided goods from other countries during the Korean War.
View of park from above. The square building off to the left is the Bell of the Citizens.

Tight fit to walk down the one flight to catch the elevator down.

A surprise ending to the Busan Tower — the infinity mirrors and other delightful light plays.
